HEADING INTO DECEMBER WITH MAJOR TAX-CODE ISSUES UNRESOLVED
This week’s inaction in Washington will be sure to cause major confusion among taxpayers as we head to the end of the year. Congress’s, much hyped, bi-partisan, deficit-cutting committee failed in their attempt to even agree on a framework on how to attempt to tackle our country’s fiscal dilemma. Left in their wake of inertia are a number of unanswered questions about tax code items that are scheduled to expire either at the end of 2011 or 2012.
